Living by Faith: Bible Study With C. Rose

“Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.” ~J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship Of The Ring

We all need to live by faith. I studied faith and here are some scriptures I came across.

Matthew 21:21

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.

Matthew 14:31
Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”

Matthew 15:28
Then Jesus answered, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

Ask yourself these questions:

Q:What was an experience when you had to use a lot of faith?

Q:Did your faith work?

David had faith that he could beat Goliath if he didn’t he never would have volunteered to fight.

With God David had all the strength he needed.

A definition of faith is complete trust or confidence in someone or something.

Another definition for faith is strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.

Faith as a child

Q:When you hear the word faith what do you think about?

I think about believing in what you can do. What you’re capable of doing and believing that you can accomplish it.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

I know that doesn’t have the word faith in it but it sure is a faithful scripture.

Mommy and Daddy had faith when the doctors said I wasn’t gonna make it because my heart and lungs weren’t developed. But here I am now.

Jesus had faith when he went down on the cross because he knew that everything would be just fine. He knew that with God with him there was no way he could be let down.

Please look over the questions and provide your answers in the comments section below.  I have faith in you!  LOL!

Love,
